'NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE HELD ALL OF HIS COUNTRYMEN AS HIS FAMILY MEMBERS' -- AN OFT-QUOTED STATEMENT THAT WERE BETTER REALISED BY THOSE WHO MAKE IT

Unless we learn to treat our countrymen as family members as Netaji did, we will be hypocritical in our statements that he did so. Litigating against family members to uphold Netaji's reputation? What sort of fraternal feeling, what sort of feeling for one's kith and kin is it? If the heart be lost in one's dealings, how far is one representative of a man who felt so dearly for his countrymen? Mere stating repeatedly that Netaji held the whole body of Indians as his family and then resorting to unfriendly action -- to euphemistically put it -- against ardent devotees of Netaji for their cinematic representation of what they are convinced was Netaji's life post-disappearance can hardly be deemed as familial action, for who ever sues one's dear ones? Reflect.
