The narrative is so interwoven with fact and cinematic scripting that a sense of reality pervades the entire film inducing in the audience conviction about the truth of the tale told. Amlan Kusum Ghosh deserves due approbation for this for his has been the screenplay and the direction of the film in such delightful terms. The research work backing the film has also been his, stretching a decade and a half. This tireless traveller has made countless trips to the sites and locations where Netaji in monastic reincarnation had once lived a most mysterious life behind the curtains. Such visits have naturally lent the director deep insight into the happenings of the times round his subject [Netaji-Bhagavanji] as could be elicited by him from local inhabitants and Bhagavanji's associates both in Uttar Pradesh and in Kolkata. This has lent the film firm foundation in truth which in turn has breathed an air of authenticity into the film.
