Hindus must defend themselves against invasive Islam and this is the best way to do so. You must not only know yourself but also the adversary in titanic combat with you for over thirteen centuries that has bled you close to cultural closure, civilisational annihilation. Military strategy is to know about the enemy in perfect detail, its philosophy, politics, purposes and practices. Hence, in this war of attrition such study is binding, an existential imperative.
