THE THOUSAND-YEAR SLAVERY, THE RESISTANCE AND THE RECOVERY 

The more one reads about Muslim rule in India, the more one shrinks from it in revulsion and horror. It was the darkest night in Indian history stretching over a thousand years followed by European Christian domination and depredation for a few centuries more. The long, continuous, flourishing civilisation of Hindu India (Buddhism/Jainism/all Indic dharma traditions included) was disrupted, derailed, destroyed and replaced by barbarous inferior culture whose seeds in noxious growth over centuries eventually partitioned India, mutilating the arms of the motherland at both ends and continues to pollute the pristine civilisation with poison from within and without. But the recovery that began with the advent of the wonder-boy Shankara (788--820 CE) and was reinforced periodically by the birth of sages and saints, Avatars and revolting Hindu sects and monarchs, the Marathas and the Sikhs, the Jats and the Rajputs till it reached culmination in the appearance of Vivekananda (1863--1902 CE) on the scene is on and will continue till Aryavarta is restored to its pristine purity. Till that dawn of recovery of heritage and culture the struggle shall be on. 🕉
