BY WAY OF SPONTANEOUS RESPONSE TO A POST OF SWAMI EKARTHANANDA PURI (यतिराज पुरी -- एकार्थ महाराज)

BY WAY OF SPONTANEOUS RESPONSE TO A POST OF SWAMI EKARTHANANDA PURI (यतिराज पुरी -- एकार्थ महाराज)

Perceptive and sharp pointer to nations with the latter ideal they adhere to, that of Truth being the monopoly of the religion they profess and of the falsity of all other spiritual approaches to Truth. These posts need greater support, circulation and discussion thereof to raise greater awareness among otherwise passive devotees sleeping on their assumptions and feeble supposed adherence to the pristine principles of the Sanatan Dharma. Few, alas, few care to read deep into the import of posts as perceptive as yours and most are content to express their standard references of reverence to the Master and his monastics when the crying call of the hour is to strengthen oneself in the comprehension of the graver dangers to our civilisation and culture, our heritage and the dharma.

Your cryptic messages are not heeded by many, perhaps the majority of your readers, if I err not, who honour them not on account of their content and intent but on account of your status in their eyes as a monastic, and it is regrettable indeed that it should be so, for your messages are loaded with thought-provoking hints and directions about the way Hindus should go about their defence of the dharma. Yet, there a few who profit by your directions and eagerly wait for future such cryptic references about the glory that is the Sanatan Dharma, its challenges and threats from proselytising Semitic religions like Christianity and Islam, and the way to overcome such onerous ordeals that have beset our way thus far and will continue to do so till these exclusive faiths have run out their time on earth and humanity evolved enough to discard obsolete medieval manoeuvrings masquerading as enlightening spirituality.

May your efforts be guided by the dispassionate doctrine of the Geeta and survive the neglect of passive piety manifesting as devotion to the cause as is evident in so many comments of apparent indifference to the import of the message tended to be conveyed ! So, what of it? Even Krishna had uttered the divine Geeta to a lone disciple and in extreme circumstance, yet, it spread through the wide world in course of time. A deed of devotion must reap its harvest in time and so may your endeavours be ! Be fired up by the idealism of the Sanatan Dharma and keep firing your volleys into the citadels of untruth to help flutter the flag of universal freedom. Vande Mataram !
