Perhaps, the riddle of existence will be solved by the realisation of God, perhaps, not. Who knows till he knows? The doubts forever linger, never allowing the soul to rest and will be dispelled only through Self-realisation, perhaps, not, for, despite such immediate perception, the means and modes of Maya may remain beyond bounds of understanding, for 'inscrutable are the ways of the Lord', as the Biblical saying goes, and 'anirvachaniya Maya' as Shankara puts it. Therefore, doubts will forever assail thinking humanity as to the nature of phenomenal and absolute reality and, despite individual Self-realisation, the clear answer to many a question may not be possible to articulate, and, even if possible, such answers may not be intelligible to the vast majority and will have to be understood only through spiritual self-evolution culminating in the realisation of one's essence. Thus, a veil over reality will forever hang despite man's best attempts to lift it and it will ever be the individual who shall be privy to what lies behind the veil where he, perchance, will behold the face of the Real.
