RAMAKRISHNA MISSION WARY AND WATCHFUL, RESTRAINED AND RETICENT AS ISLAMIC INTOLERANCE UNFOLDS IN BANGLADESH 

Swami Purnātmānandaji Maharaj is not telling the whole truth when he says that the two main principles of Islam are equality and peace. Islam is by Qur'anic injunction intolerant of all other religions and positively hateful of idolatrous ones as popular Hinduism is whose destruction is its divinely mandated objective en route to establishing global hegemony. Peace is as far-fetched from eternally warring Islam as tolerance and acceptance of other religions is from it. Thus on both counts, Maharaj, evidently under considerable political duress, is stating half-truths and concealing the whole truth in consequence. One can imagine his predicament now as head of the Bangladesh wing of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission for he has to guard the fortunes of 19 branch centres and 7 sub-centres whose fate like that of all Bangladeshi Hindus lies in the balance as Islamisation of Bangladesh achieves near completion whereupon it may well nigh be impossible to continue functioning there anymore as was the case in Pakistan post 1948 when the Karachi centre had to be wound up for good. Hope better sense prevails and sanity of the civic population ultimately gains ground enough to thwart such a totalitarian classical Islamic approach to life in Bangladesh. 🕉
