These are 16 of the 17 direct monastic male disciples of Sri Ramakrishna whose photographs are published in the English translation of 'Sri Sri Ramakrishna Leelaprasanga' and the photo of the 17th one, Swami Nirmalananda, is missing. Why so if the Mission accepts Swami Nirmalananda as Thakur's direct disciple, as the case is being made out to be by some, the English translation which is called 'Sri Ramakrishna the Great Master' does not include Nirmalanandaji's photo? Can those who say that the Mission accepts Swami Nirmalananda as the direct disciple of Thakur now expalin this anomaly? There must be plain fact-speaking here and not partial truths provided that reveal something significant but hide something vital to the issue?
