It was a wonderful session today as two devotees from families very close to the Ramakrishna movement visited me at my residence. I feel blessed today and uplifted by their holy association. These are rare occasions when kindred spirits meet and at such a confluence of souls flows the spiritual Ganga. Hopefully, a movement shall emanate from these meetings when other like souls will also grace such occasions and we may then celebrate Thakur's advent on earth with due devotion.
Form 5.50 p.m. till 10.40 p.m. the conversation carried on with Thakur as the nucleus holding the drift together. Swami Nirmalananda featured prominently, Kiron Chandra Dutta, Brahma Gopal Dutta, Ajay Kumar Basu, Dr. Achutan, Manoj Sivan, Lakshmi Nivas, Ramlal Dada, Swamis Gahanananda, Ranganathananda et al. A wide variety of issues were discussed, those ranging from the early episodes of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission to those of this day. Holy Mother featured prominently in our discussions as did the familial line of Ramlal Dada.
The details are not being divulged here for it will be too lengthy a write-up then but suffice it to say that we threesome formed a formidable company exploding Ramakrishna thought-bombs for the entire evening. The upshot of it all was that there was a tentative agreement that we must make for a spiritual movement of sorts from here on and in this regard I request interested people to contact me as and when we shall notify all where to contact.
We hope to soon meet for the next session and till then shall prepare ourselves for the movement that is in the offing.
