NETAJI -- THE UNBLEMISHED, BLAMELESS LEADER
The epic hero of our times, a veritable titan who drove the colonial conqueror from our shores. His life's saga seems to have dwarfed our epic heroes from mythological lore and established once and for all that 'truth is stranger than fiction'. Scaling the peaks, plumbing the deeps, fording the rivers and marching through the forests, Netaji bore down on the enemy to bring India to within inches of freedom when fortunes turned and events took a different shape. But even in absence his spirit worked wonders for the nation in subjugation as it inspired the sailors of the Royal Indian Navy to revolt which put paid to lingering British hopes of colonial continuance in India. The rest is a sad tale of treachery against the patriot premier which we must undo and correct the course of our national history. Unto that we need to dedicate ourselves if we claim to be his sincere followers.
