A revisitation by Thakur and his entourage is the call of the hour. He needs to reaffirm the dharma when it has well-nigh reached its lowest ebb. I feel desperate in despair when I listen to YouTube videos, shallow and hollow, dished out by the dozens in his name. Gone are the greats. Alas, tapasya is necessary! In its absence spirituality has been shorn of substance. The lectures lack conviction and smack of unlived articulation of principles by men gifted in words but lacking in both merit and mettle.
