AS BRUTALITY REIGNS ... 2

Must might always be right? If evil reigns it is as much the fault of miscreants and warmongers as it is that of the so-called good people who refuse to translate good intentions amply articulated into good deeds in a like proportion in real. Virtuous selfishness is as much a contributor to the evil that rules the world and retards civilisation as vicious selfishness. Virtue in European terms is connected to valour -- and it is good that it should be so -- but consciousness, unless clarified, cannot discern genuine good from evil in a world intimately interspersed with the twain.
