IS THIS THE WAY AHEAD?

Continuous vilification of Gandhiji and his non-violent approach to the problem of freedom from colonial bondage does Netaji and his cause no good. Abusive members are hereby being cautioned to be more civilised in speech. They ought to rather channelise their efforts and energy to doing better study on Netaji and his revolutionary programme for independence and come up with fresher ideas that will throw new light on the contributions of this seminal hero who remains in terms of sacrifice and zeal and uninhibited courage unparalleled in the annals of modern Indian history.
Lack of civility in language is an expression of one's own ignorance about the contentious issues under debate and discussion and is a pointer to the gross injustice we continue to do to the hero who we supposedly can die for but cannot quite tolerate a bit of counter-argument or assertion from an apparent adversary in debate. Hence, all members are being urged to be restrained in speech while engaging in deliberations here on this page dedicated to Netaji. It is doing him a great dishonour when we transgress the code of civilised conduct every time. He would never corroborate this sort of uncivil behaviour as has been and is being witnessed from pertinent members despite being told repeatedly to refrain from such a mode. I hope that civility will now prevail. In its absence this page will have no meaning for it violates its very spirit to be hatemongers and abusers and what not. We owe it to our great leaders, each one of them, something which ought to restrain us from indulging in this sort of unmannerly behaviour.
With best wishes to all and hopes for continued participation in a grand enlightened way,
I remain ever yours in Netaji,
Sugata Bose (administrator)
