IN RESPONSE TO UTPAL AICH'S ESSAY ENTITLED : 'HOW THE HISTORY OF INDIA’S FREEDOM STRUGGLE WAS TAMPERED WITH BY THE SELF-SEEKING SCHEMER - JAWAHARLAL NEHRU, WITH ACTIVE SUPPORT OF HIS LACKEYS, OPPORTUNISTS & TURNCOATS, SELLOUTS, PETRIFIED ‘INSTITUTIONS’ DEPENDING ON GOVERNMENT GRANTS AND THE EVER OBLIGING COURT HISTORIANS'

The problem is that few do sufficient research as you, Utpal Aich, are inclined to doing. Hence, neither is this Nehruvian blasphemy of Indian history exposed well enough nor are there effective relay-runners for the course who will keep up research and analysis thereof in the right direction for the resurrection of the true history of the freedom struggle. I guess this is our national predicament and you are quite an exception to this general and, I dare say, universal trend in India. Your painstaking research and reading are quite a departure from this common practice and we are, therefore, indebted to your labour of love for our easy illumination as to many a perfidy that has been perpetrated by the so-called patriots of our country, the premier politicians of the day who have buried the prince of patriots beneath the debris of the war (WW II) and the peace that followed and, so, buried the motherland's best hopes for a resurgence that would have after all brought in the human renaissance so cherished by these leaders of men.Alas, such a turn of events did not take place for by human action the natural course of historical evolution was for the time being thwarted and human development impeded thus in India and in effect the world around by this malefic attempt to obscure Netaji and the revolutionary movement from the horizons of history! But when I see a mere mortal like you, Utpal Aich, with supreme commitment born out of supernal love for the hero, rise to the occasion and keep delving the dust-laden shelves of libraries and archives to discover the truth with a single-minded passion, a zeal that would do a missionary proud, I feel relieved at the thought that all, perhaps, is not lost as yet and more like you, inspired by your lead, will come to the fore and lay bare the facts of history which comrades and colleagues, friends and foes, and the exigencies of the times have conspired to conceal, nay, obliterate for good from the annals of what would otherwise have been the golden period of the Indian recovery.I am an ignorant person and may only write my appreciation of your erudition in the subject in effusive terms as is my wont but let me tell you that you are, Utpal Aich, the cause of much triggering of interest in this seemingly dead cause which, though, through your efforts and a like labour of kindred souls like you, is coming back to life and increased discussions, even if trite, are keeping the flame of interest alive which can only augur well for future research to unravel fresher truths about this best-concealed and worst-chronicled document of our national rebirth. We all owe you a debt of gratitude to you for your diligent research day in and day out which ought to be a pointer to us all as to how historical study must be conducted in a disciplined and scientific manner without rancorous disputations with adversaries or embittered vilification of opponents harbouring a variant view but always with a calm composure and a quiet dispassion that is the hallmark of the scholar par excellence. May the blessings of the martyrs for freedom be on you and may you be endowed with the wondrous vision of the truths you seek to unravel! I shall in my humble capacity as your ardent reader be only too delighted to serve your cause, which is our national cause as well, in any manner that you deem fit for me. With best wishes to you and your large and extended national family, Utpal Aich, I beg to say, Happy New Year and Shubha Kalpataru Diwas on this the 1st of January, 2018. Jai Hind!
