POESY : TO A BANGLADESHI BHĀI WHO GAVE MY COMMENT A LAUGH-EMOJI HIGH
TO A BANGLADESHI
MOMIN BHĀI
WHO GAVE MY COMMENT
A LAUGH-SIGN HI
Hasmukh,
Though you are
In the deep, deep dark
And out of light,
You delight!
Your humour fair,
Now these days rare,
Has in the dark
Caught my sight.
I see your nature
In dead wrong path
In a sorry plight.
Hasmukh,
Return to roots,
Where aren't any brutes
And all is fair,
And blossoming love
Will take thy care.
Where the sun shines bright
And the paths, though, many
Are true and sound
And safe and right.
There dwell once more
Where your forefathers bore
Gods and goddesses
And Rishis galore.
There return
From the rough sea wild
To the gentle shore.
Follow me, Hasmukh?
I invite you true
To cast off this dark,
This dark, dark night,
And as prodigal son
In one sharp flight,
Or battling through
For your ancient right
To put up fight,
And end this misery,
This pathetic plight.
Hasmukh,
You must, you must
Cast off fright
And in lofty flight
To roots return.
Am I right?
