Sugata Bose @Kainat S. Hussain : Read Islamic history from its violent inception and then talk. To compare Islamic oppression over 1400 years on other communities with stray incidents here and there perpetrated by individuals of other communities on Muslims is puerile. Islam is fundamentally exclusive and intolerant of all other faiths by scriptural mandate and in consequence has since inception left a violent trail till this day. There was no West to trouble the rampaging Muslims 1400 years ago. Thus, that argument falls apart, although, in no way am I endorsing western geopolitical dominance over weaker nations and their decimating them with advanced weaponry. India has owing to her own internal weaknesses suffered at the hands of Islam for well over 1300 years and for that we are, to begin with, ourselves to blame. But that does not take away the oppression Islam has unleashed for over a millennium and three centuries over the Hindus (Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists all included) here. Our temples have been destroyed and mosques built over them, our women have been raped, enslaved, deported and sold in the slave markets of Arabia, our men mass murdered, boys castrated, our population converted largely by the sword and eventually our motherland partitioned. What more do you want? Illustrations galore I can give but of what avail are they before an apologist on behalf of such oppression on account of belonging to the fold? 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Kainat S. Hussain : Not at all. To avoid your embarrassment I am not citing historical instances with specific detail as such because I honour you.

Sugata Bose @Shirshendu Dey : Oh! I see. Thanks for informing. I must read up this phase of our history with due diligence.

Sugata Bose @Kainat S. Hussain : I am not attempting to honour you. I look upon you as an embodiment of the Divine Mother, an incarnation of Shakti. Besides it your erudition and command of English, intellectual faculty and power of articulation of ideas in an orderly manner are praiseworthy for which I duly honour you. To top it up with the natural affection one feels for one's next generation or even the one after that, there is nothing but good feeling in my heart for you. May Sri Ramakrishna bless you!

Sugata Bose @Kainat S. Hussain : Whose are divine revelations? Which of the truths are absolute truths?

Yes, Islam must undergo critical scrutiny. Rational rigour must be adopted, full scientific investigation. It has not only to stand the test of reason but also philosophical inquiry like the Vedanta. Faith based on so-called exclusive 'revelation' is insecure foundation for a religion. It is like building sand-castles which must shift and crumble. Can Islam stand the Vedantic test of questioning the very existence of phenomena? Can it be rationally expounded without basing first principles on faith and a unique personal assertion? 🕉

Sugata Bose @Chandan Bhattacharjee But Shree Krishna was a kshatriya and studied the enemy's mind and motives, strengths and weaknesses. If Hindus refuse to study the theology, law and philosophy of their civilisational enemies, how on earth may they be Shree Krishna's worthy disciples and the carriers of his warfield message? Knowledge is power and in this civilisational war, knowing the enemy's mind and motive, inspirational source and intent thereof are a sine qua non. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Kainat S. Hussain : Time for you to listen to the ex-Muslims.

Sugata Bose @YouTube (Jaipur Dialogues) : Stop your disgusting commerce by selling cups and teashirts in the name of serving the nation.

Sugata Bose @Kainat S. Hussain : They are fools who have done that, utterly devoid of rationality to embrace a faith that is founded merely on claims and assertions that cannot stand the test of reason or critical scrutiny.

Sugata Bose @Priyadarshi Gupta : None can. Those who can do not exist in phenomenal terms. The abstract must by organic necessity be conceived of in name and form. To separate the form from its formless ideatic essence becomes the Brahmajnani's vocation and there are ar best one or two such in a billion. Those who say that their God is formless, merely articulate the idea thus but have no conception of what they say or attempt to mean. It is parroted poetry bearing no significance in verse. Can anyone separate beauty from the beautiful, his or her own form from its abstract essence that would duly qualify then to claim that their God is formless? Have they any idea of what they say? One can only think of one's God in one's personal terms and no more. All this monotheistic talk of the formless God is no more than childish prattle by puerile children. The mature ones have evolved to that level of the conception of their mental limitation which then prompts them to concentrate on their inner essence with the help of the idol, the external representation of their Chosen Deity in name and form. Thus they proceed unto the realisation of the eventual abstraction which is their attributeless, formless Self, the Atman which is the Brahman. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Satyanand Bhattacharjee : Bangladesh, my venerable Sir, Bangladesh! Add Pakistan to it. Besides countless terror attacks on India where Hindus are the prime target. Forgotten Sandeshkhali?

Sugata Bose @Sushanta Chowdhury : When you awake and I awake, for we also are Hindus.

Sugata Bose @Subhrajyoti Bhowmick : Yes, of course. October, 2071 is the critical date.

Sugata Bose @Nilanjana Chakraborty : It won't at all happen because people will within millennia die to attain moksha but it will happen because the oppressive Islamic system will make progressively rational women and men within its fold revolt against it and bring about its downfall.

Sugata Bose @Imtiaz Mahmood : Superb one! Simply a porcupine quill shield!

Sugata Bose @Deepanjan Mitra : Superb response. Most valuable, nay, critical suggestions of programmes to be adopted by way of preparation for self-defence. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Nilanjana Chakraborty : But they are not leaving Islam because they are in search of moksha. As I said, the oppressive system that Islam is, has forced them out of it.

Sugata Bose @Antara Tampin Sadhu : Disgusting depiction of Sri Ramakrishna! Is it child's play to play the role of this most seminal of sages? Where is that personality, where the purity that like nascent innocence shone upon Thakur's face and sublimated all worldly feelings? This lack of rigour in every artistic execution, this shallowness in easy exhibition has ruined the erstwhile refined culture of Bengal and made a mockery of what was once an elevating experience in cinematic viewing. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Santanu Bhattacharjee : That brings us to the other evil---economic exploitation of the masses by systematic scientific structural set-up, the pertinent point of Marxism to which it fails to provide an adequate answer, for history reveals its horrendous failure to address the issue adequately and its philosophy cannot quite grapple with the problem of the Brownian human mind in perpetual chaos, ordering which by system has been tried and been found to be terribly wanting. Perhaps, the Trotskian theory of continuous revolution, albeit not merely material but through continuous adjustment of forces on all planes and in all phases, is the way out, and, perhaps, is the democratic process with all its apparent failings but with all its hidden potentialities waiting to surface upon better education of humanity. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Santanu Bhattacharjee : Parity will come only when scientific education becomes universal and is wholeheartedly accepted ahead of wasteful expenditure of time and energy in ritualistic observances of no consequence. I fully understand the value of rituals in holding society together by allowing the common man some sort of an access into the inner world where depth-seated lies the Lord but casual waste of time and energy that is in common currency, thanks to perfidious political patronage, takes the academic focus of a nation away which in effect makes it subservient to the scientifically advanced nations of the world, which advance is reflected in their national currencies (the US dollar, the Euro and the pound sterling) of global acceptance, as you have rightly pointed out. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Swami Shivapremananda : The Catholics have their concept of the Trinity which allows the Son who is God to address the Father who is God as well. So, this way they have attempted to resolve the problem. But the Unitarian Church rejects this view. So does Islam. Even the Brahmo Samaj rejects the special divinity of Christ just as it rejects yhe concept of the Avatār in Hinduism.

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : You are doing a great job in highlighting culture which is the bulwark of society. This is work in the right direction. Something positive for the people to cling to at a time of great human peril from the destructive forces that threaten to rupture social cohesion and degrade culture. Carry on in your seminal mission and we shall happily keep profiting from reading these luminous passages emanating from the best of minds. 🕉

Sugata Bose @Siddharth Jhawar : She had great spirituality on account of her purity and renunciation, love of God and man, but was constrained in her beliefs by Christian theology and Church doctrine and practice which is why she has not been remembered as we remember our sages and saints. But her absolute chastity was beyond question which gave her great holiness. The programming of her brain with Catholic dogma prevented her from scaling the summit of spiritual consciousness where all organisational association withers away, all theological injunctions melt into the expanse of an infinite acceptance, the universality of spiritual superconsciousness. She did confess that it was all dark within her, although she had to keep up to people's expectations of her and averred that her words on God did go straight to the hearts of the people. But sincere seeker that she was, Mother Teresa like her predecessor in the Church, St. John of the Cross, did cross the realm of worldly darkness to which the ordinary mortal is subject but failed to cross the dark desert thereafter that separates the dark material world from the spiritual world of sublime luminosity. Such has been the fate historically of many a Catholic saint and those that did experience a semblance of non-dual consciousness were chastised for it by the Church and brought to book by ordering them to focus on thd form of Christ alone.

Hindus are attracted to saints and sages for their purity and this is why they flocked to have a glimpse of this godlike mother and to express their reverence by duly touching those hallowed feet of hers, bent by age but passing a  eldctric thrill through the body if the percipient was spiritually sensitive enough. Often the current affected ordinary people as well, those humble people having childlike innocence. Mother Teresa did have her terrible Christian limitations but was still a supernal soul, hers a rare visitation on earth and one who, despite large limitations of theology imposed upon her by birth and Christian conditioning, did transcend the mundane to bring a touch of the Divine on earth, such an experience having been confessed by many a men of light and learning and of more humble lay. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : Was Sri Aurobindo himself the proposed superman, a prototype of the future species? Or, is it absolutely waiting in the wings as of now in the womb of the unborn future? One wonders.

Sugata Bose @Ujjal Kumar Ghosh : I completely endorse your view and am amazed at the subtlety of your perception. The next question that I shall now raise is this: Was Sri Aurobindo a Rishi?

Sugata Bose @YouTube [2 Cents Podcast] : What a deal of superstition Bangladesh has sunk in!

Sugata Bose @YouTube [ETV Talk Show] : Goebbles' lie and Al Taqqiah are cousins.

Sugata Bose @YouTube [ETV Talk Show] : Why should Muslims not lie? Lying to advance the cause of Islam will get them a ticket to Jannat. So, Al Taqqiah may be practised in such a case.

Sugata Bose @Priyadarshi Gupta : You may have a sweeping disagreement but on what basis? Have you read the trinity of Islamic scriptures, the Qur'an, the Hadees and the Sira before you have formed your view and arrived at your conclusion? Or is it a wide sweep of expansive love, no doubt a laudable attitude in humanistic terms but suffering from the fault of imperfect information or no information at all about this strange faith or, more correctly, the Deen that is Islam. One must read the foundational texts of Islam to be able to comprehend its utterly strange motivations and aspired ends. I will help you in this regard.

Sugata Bose @Swami Nikhileswarananda : This is a very gross idea of enmeshed physical oneness. Oneness is ever of the Spirit and not of the body. Impossible integration of the body thus is a case of physical aberration, conjoint deformity that violates the 'sundaram' principle, that of aesthetics. As such this sort of overlapping of images may be gross photoshopping but is certainly not artistic endeavour of a refined kind or a spiritually inspiring one. It clearly shows that our minds are poised on the periphery of things and cannot plumb their philosophical depths wherein oneness in essence lies in a sublime unitary source consciousness. 🕉 Hindu!

Sugata Bose @Nilanjana Chakraborty : Read the Qur'an by (a) Abdallah Yusuf Ali (b) Marmaduke Pikthall. Online links are being provided. You can browse through as and when you get the time.

Sugata Bose @Imtiaz Mahmood :

Such scriptural gravity may sink the ship,

Dropping from heaven for a holy dip.

It's best such words at source we nip,

It's toxic trail in war we clip.

Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah, hip!

In deed done well we'll nectar sip.

Sugata Bose @Sameer Banik : Volte-face on gaining power, somersault of the hot seat.

Sugata Bose @Azhar Ali Malik : Not all but surely Christianity is. Both proselytise and pervert people thus from their cultural roots. Islam, however, is the more toxic of the two as it makes larger claims for itself than the other two Abrahamic faiths, namely, Judaism and Christianity, declaring itself as the last and perfect path to a deliriously delightful desirous heaven and its founder as the last of the prophets which effectively stifles evolution of spiritual thought and keeps it confined with the narrow bounds of a single person's supposed revelation. The concept of liberation of the embodied being from the meshes of matter, the attainment of perfection in Existence-Consciousness-Bliss Absolute, these are absent in all three Abrahamic faiths. While Judaism on account of its absence of proselytism is harmless on that count for non-Jews, proselytising Christianity and Islam are a menace. They are culturally violent and seek world-domination through crafty camouflage of political intent by the foliage of faith. Both are proselytising and therefore pernicious for people who have no need of their proselytism. Hindus have suffered nearly 1400 years from Islamic aggression and over 500 years from Christian proselytism of a violent toxic kind, best exemplified by the Portuguese Inquisition. Islam will not reform as it avers that its holy book is divinely revealed and is beyond reformation. So, Muslims worldwide continue to be held in indoctrinated faith upon which foundation they build up all their rationalising. If Islam cannot be reformed, surely human beings adhering to it thus far may be. They can apotasise and there are solid rational grounds for doing so. I know this is difficult for there is the strong identity and community factor within the fold, the alienation factor post apostasy and the general absence of the intelligence factor which makes sensible change an imperative. Besides, Islam for all its theological and practical evils balances Christian-based Western domination. This is balance of power as well. If Islam falls, Christianity will spread with all its toxicity as well, although much less in intensity as its theology is more benign than that of Islam. This is a tricky world situation. The events in the coming five decades will however see to the demise of Islam as a significant force and it will be rendered toothless much like Euro-Christianity. Right now, though, Islam in all its defensive and offensive jihād is causing a lot of damage to human civilisation and needs to be countered in rational terms for all its regressive ideology. 🕉
