IN RESPONSE TO KALYAN GHOSH'S COMMENT ON A POST OF MINE WHICH RAN THUS : 'PROXIMITY OF THE GENDERS IS EXTREMELY HARMFUL IN THE SPIRITUAL PATH. HENCE, A MONK MUST AVOID ASSOCIATION WITH WOMAN AT ANY COST.'

Kalyan Ghosh Extremely uncomfortable mindsetSugata Bose Pray, whose mind-set, Sri Ramakrishna's or mine? Elaborate to drive home the point. Sri Ramakrishna will stand corrected by you thereby. 'The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna' must be re-written by the modern 'M's like you. There are many more uncomfortable truths that you may not be able to digest at this stage, one such being Thakur's caustic comment on 'the lawyer, the doctor and the broker' in reference to what you will be knowing if you have seriously studied the Gospel. Another one says, ''A man does not remain a man when he becomes rich. His form remains that of a human but his nature becomes animal-like." How about it?I have merely restricted myself thus far in naming Sri Ramakrishna as the source of my knowledge in regard to what we are discussing here but cannot any more constrain myself to not bringing in the Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi who used to warn monks about the danger of proximity to women thus : ''Do not even look upon the face of a wooden figure of woman.'' @ Kalyan Ghosh.P.S. These are incomplete references to the subject under discussion. Please go through all such relevant snippet posts and detailed discussions of mine on the subject to arrive at a comprehensive understanding of my take on the issue, if you deem the effort worthwhile, that is. Your opposition notwithstanding, those who have attempted ever to advance spiritually on the strictest terms of continence for its basis, will corroborate my view which is the echo of what Sri Sri Thakur articulated in his terrestrial sojourn which was chronicled faithfully thereafter by 'M', his devoted follower and biographer, in his epic hagiographical work.
