WHY TULSI MAHARAJ [SWAMI NIRMALANANDA] HAS BEEN AND IS BEING DENIED RECOGNITION BY THE MISSION AS THAKUR'S DIRECT DISCIPLE

I have written copiously on it. Will write in future as well. Meanwhile, the official false narrative continues.

Perhaps, this is the official line to avoid lingering of the court controversy that afflicted the Mission in the early thirties of the last century. One would imagine, though, that the time for reinstatement of Tulsi Maharaj to his true status as Thakur's direct disciple has come and old episodes are best left behind. But that would entail the Mission's public avowal of the fact that it has thus far denied the people, especially its devotees, the right data about discipleship of Thakur which would be a big blow to its credibility as an institution that is founded on and built on truth. Hence, this continuing denial of the truth which is the elemental evil all organisations in some way or the other fall victim to.

How the Mission will in course of time extricate itself from this tangle remains to be seen. A straight avowal of the truth today will damage its reputation a great deal and this is what, I believe, is keeping it from doing it. Eventually, though, the truth will have to be made public when some historian of world renown will write the history of the Mission, including Tulsi Maharaj as Thakur's rightful direct disciple. Then, perhaps, the Mission will backtrack to original intent and allow due recognition to Tulsi Maharaj.

As of now, though, the devotees of the Mission are docile creatures hardly endowed with the courage of conviction necessary to face up to the monks and question them on any issue that is besetting the Mission, for instance, the commercialisation of the Mission's activities, leave aside the falsity related to the disciples' list of the Master.

Time will roll on, times will change and the corrective measures will be duly adopted. Till then people like us will blare in the desert for cactuses to hear and oasises to ripple through while the devotees will keep deserting us to seek fertile flora in the field of falsity. 🕉
