Sri Ramakrishna's conception of Islam and Christianity is an advancement on Islam and Christianity itself. His is the ultimate pronouncement of the oneness of the spiritual ocean whose tributaries are these diverse sectarian religions with all their follies and foibles in fanatical propensity. The Avatar of the Age has laid down the foundation for the building of the future edifice of the Eternal Religion (Sanatan Dharma) with all its dualistic diversity, now clashing and colliding but in the process of harmonising in the long run.
