BE PROUD TO BE A HINDU

BE PROUD TO BE A HINDU

Do not be apologetic about being a Hindu. Be affirmatively so. As Sister Nivedita said following upon her Master Swami Vivekananda's teaching, Hinduism must become aggressive. But in aggression do not be stupidly arrogant, an attitude born of stupendous ignorance, but be bold in your articulation and in your defence of the dharma through patient and persevering study of the scriptures and the practice of its stated yogic principles. That would be a befitting way to go about as aggressive Hindus, as bearers of the faith who do not cower before adversarial assault but can effectively defend their dharma in unapologetic and unequivocal terms. After all, Hinduism 🕉 with all its philosophical profundity equips you so well to rise in its defense and despite it should you fail to do so, then consider what Cassius said, "The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves that we are underlings." (Quotation from 'Julius Caesar' by William Shakespeare)
