THE PROGRESSIVE ISLAMISATION OF INDIA ... 1

THE PROGRESSIVE ISLAMISATION OF INDIA ... 1

Islamisation of Hindu India began in 712 CE with the conquest of Sindh by Muhammad ibn al-Qasim. Ever since the process of Islamisation has been going on. From not a single Muslim in the Indian subcontinent once, Muslims now form 1/3 of its population. Parts (Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh) have fallen to Islam. Now the eye is on Hindu India. Already Kashmir has fallen. Now West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and God knows where else the setting up of Islamic hegemony is on the agenda.

Wave after wave of Islamisation has destroyed Hindu civilisation for 1300 years and what remains of it is now also being destroyed. From the coastal areas of erstwhile Bharatvarsha Muslim traders moved out across the seas to Islamise the South-east Asian countries, thereby obliterating local culture as well as the prevailing Hindu and Buddhist culture there. Spreading with fire and sword that offered the one option of 'Islam or death', spreading with the Jizya whose brunt the poorest had to bear to escape which they converted to Islam en masse, spreading with the deceit of Sufism that seduced Hindus into submitting to Islam, using force of arms whenever necessary, spreading by enslaving conquered women and children before converting them, spreading by reducing the Hindu male population by killing them en masse after conquest and impregnating enslaved Hindu women, Islam's track record in Hindustan is gory.

Must we forget this horrific history, the subjugation of our trusting ancestors by the sword of Islam, the sexslavement of our womenfolk and their deportation to Arabia to be sold in the slave markets there, the destruction of our temples by the tens of thousands, the defilement of the images of our Gods and Goddesses, the brutalisation of our society as a whole, the burning of our great libraries at Nalanda, Vikramashila and the like, the halting of the march of Hindu civilisation, the forcing of our educated womenfolk into the dark dungeons of ignorance behind the purdah such that the highly literate female population of Bharatvarsha became a mass of ignorant child-producers?

Let us revisit our history and find out what happened in the last 13 centuries ever since Sindh fell. But for this you will have to shed laziness and educate yourselves. The literature is abounding but the reader is rare. Whose fault is it then?
