SAVE THE CHILDREN, SAVE THE NATION, SAVE HUMANITY 

Should Indians (not just Hindus) be exposed to intolerant ideology that declares Hindus as kafirs who will perennially burn in Hell after death? Is this permissible in India under the banner of secular multicultural liberalism? This is spewing venom against Hindus and ought not to be allowed.

Should loudspeakers be allowed to blare away that there is no other God but Allah and that He is the greatest, which effectively means that Hindu gods and goddesses and even the Supreme Brahman/Atman are of inferior status? Should such doctrinaire intolerance be allowed in India in the name of democratic freedom which had led to the Partition of India, the genocide of Hindus in 1971 by the Bangladeshi Razakars and the Pakistan military, the endless riots where Hindus are massacred, the exodus of Kashmiri Hindu Pandits in 1990, the growing street violence against Hindus we witness so often and the massacre of an estimated 80 million Hindus over 13 centuries of Islamic occupation of the subcontinent?

If a nation is Constitutionally secular, it does not follow that it should give free space to those who indoctrinate in countless Madrassas small children in scriptural intolerance which goes against the civilisational ethos of India. Where lies the future of India as a progressive nation if such intolerance be bred in hundreds of thousands of Islamic faith-schools across the length and breadth of India?

Prevention is better than cure. Why allow intolerance to breed thus and then try to curb it through administrative and judicial machinery? Why not go to the seed of the problem and nip it in the bud? Our children deserve better than such inhuman indoctrination in the name of theological education. The government itself owes it to them to provide for their mental security against such brutal indoctrination. Save the children. Save the nation. Save humanity. 🕉
