IS THIS POETRY OR PERVERSION WHEN A REPUTED BENGALI POET, A SAHITYA ACADEMY AWARDEE, PUBLISHES ON FACEBOOK TODAY A POEM WITH OBJECTIONABLE REFERENCES TO MOTHER SARASVATI?

Ignore the perverted ones who preach against our Gods and Goddesses and write vile poetry on them. Such indifference to their sensate indulgence serves them best. If you resist, you raise an unnecessary storm over the utterances of such imbeciles and in giving them undue importance raise their popularity among a people gone equally perverted through sheer lack of sraddhaa/reverence. These latter ones in the name of appreciation of culture support these pernicious poets which is doubly distressing. Thus it is that base people vent their base emotions at their base level among their base followers who are devoid of a semblance of sublimity. These perverted poets vilify Mother Sarasvati but would dare not do the same against the iconic figure of the other community out of fear of violent reprisal. I feel ashamed of my Bengali lineage today to behold a Sahitya Academy laurel winner craftily composing a lewd poem on our Mother Sarasvati. I really feel ashamed of belonging to the Bengali race when I behold such vice proliferating in poetic garb. Pathetic! This is not poetic licence. It is downright licentiousness.
