AZAD TILL THE END
AZAD TILL THE END
Alfred Park, Prayagraj, 27 February, 1931. Chandrasekhar Azad takes his own life after a valiant battle with hordes of armed British Indian policemen. A traitor tips off the British police about Azad meeting a fellow revolutionary at the Alfred Park whereupon the police swoop down upon the site and engage in a bloody battle for an hour or so before Azad takes his life with his last remaining bullet. True to his self-made promise and true to his name Azad remains azad (free) right till the end. The British fail to capture him alive.
