People are alive in our memory, so are we. Consciousness is the present perception of past memory. Life itself is the recollection of events gone by a moment ago. The entire stream of happening is held in momentary trust in our mind by a strange persistence, inexplicable and indissoluble. Memory, the mirror of the mind, holds us all in its thrall. To accept it is to live. To get beyond it is to conquer life itself and with it death. The gateway to God is to forget all that is phenomenal and resolve everything into the vast void, the nought, the nullity of events in summation, of attributes in totality, and enter an awareness that is integrated beyond bounds, past partition, bereft of fractional dealings and their colliding stockholding in our minds as memory. If you wish to live, then go past this distraction of the past that binds you down, that makes you cling to finiteness and failing, and abide in the sunshine of pure freedom where memory holds you not down.
