Dubious presentation. Ajoy Chakraborty is simply not up to the mark. His is a poor rendition full of pretension. His presentation of the Tagore song is off-tune and off-colour. He ought to give up musical pretension and dubious playing to the gallery. Culture at the hands of such mercenaries of music is truly at its ebb. Is this Bihag or a sheer travesty of it? Music takes to flight when commerce corrupts artistic attitudes. That the people still enjoy such horrendous performances is a pointer to the decadence of culture and the grossness of mass appreciation. Would it were that musicians exhibited some character that would entitle them to being called so !
