The moderator does not understand anything of music. She is only intent on making the discussion rise each time to surface level when the interviewee (Ustad Imrat Khan) is deepening discussion each time. This is typical of the Indian interviewer in general, one who interviews stalwarts of a particular discipline (in this case, music) while being innocent of the subject she is dealing with barring being conversant with bare factual details. The absence of appreciation of the subject in depth makes a mockery of the interview each time and this is so in all her interviews of this series 'Sakshiyat". Would it were that experts were employed to conduct these interviews of musical maestros.
