THE MOCKERY THAT MODERN MESSIAHS ARE

Tall talks by gaudily attired 'spiritual' teachers seated in cosy cushions do not solve people's problems. Out there in urban jungles reality is rougher than may be imagined even in armchair ease or in yogic pretense. If one is spiritual, one must shed posturing, pretension of all sorts and work among the people, not from an elevated status but as one with them, living with them, sharing their woes and worries, and solving their lives' problems their way with a profound sympathy and a shared joy of release thereof. Such a teacher I call spiritual, world teacher et al. All others are either profitmakers or outright rogues who are looting men of their lives' savings to fulfil their own earthly ends. And we have a houseful of such gaudily robed rogues.
