RENAISSANCE? WHAT RENAISSANCE? GLORY? WHAT GLORY WHEN THE HUMAN GOD SUFFERS SUCH INHUMAN FATE?

RENAISSANCE? WHAT RENAISSANCE? GLORY? WHAT GLORY WHEN THE HUMAN GOD SUFFERS SUCH INHUMAN FATE?

The past was glorious. We will have to build a more glorious future. Hinduism is on the rise. But the masses were then neglected as they are now. Exploitation abounds everywhere. The Hindus suffered a thousand year slavery owing to that. We must not repeat the same mistake.

Great architecture --  temples, cities, palaces -- is grand but grander still is the building of the body of the polity, the raising of the living standard of the masses. His labour is the cause of all civilisational greatness, yet it is least recompensed. The sweat and toil of the common man goes to provide for the pleasures of the prosperous, yet how unthinking they are, how callous, how merciless even in their consideration!

Charity cannot compensate what exploitation has thieved upon. A more humane distribution of wealth is necessary that caters to the welfare of all. An unjust economic order that has legal sanction for the hoarding of wealth and causes untold misery to the masses cannot be the torchbearer of civilisation or culture which is centred in man. Hinduism is the philosophy which expounds this human glory the most and, yet, it is the privileged and the powerful Hindus who trample upon the masses the most irrespective of such divine directions. Here work needs to be done. Then and then alone a real Hindu renaissance will be, not before. So long as man, the outer face of God, suffers this deathly deal, what spiritual glory are we talking about in civilisational terms? Reform and then rejoice.
