WOMAN AND THE MASSES
The life of a nation is in the masses. It is uplift of their condition without compromising on the culture of the land that is the key to national development. And the development of the masses must necessarily include the raising up of Indian womanhood, too. For it is out of the womb of woman that future India will rise, out of the energy of the Mother manifest in women that the seed of future India will seek fruition. No wonder the great Manu has prophetically said, "यत्र नार्यस्तु पुज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता ||" This is why Swami Vivekananda so stressed the uplift of 'woman and the masses'. In keeping with his prophetic vision we must carry out his mandate in practice and bring forth the birth of the future renascent India.
