SEEK THE COMPANY OF THE HOLY
Realised souls can inspire. They lift aspirants unto a higher plane if even for the while. Sustained contact with their holy selves transforms the personality entirely. Then bliss starts seeping in and gradually floods the being. Life then is an endless experience of light, love and joy.
Our work is to seek out these illumined children of the Lord whose very proximity lends life to the drooping soul and makes this terrestrial sojourn a veritable pilgrimage. Such souls are rare but they are there and they will grace us if we are sincere and pure. In the process we must stay clear of those preachers, those professional practitioners who in self-delusion delude others into following the decadent way unto destruction.
Even among monks who preach, some inspire, while others exhibit subtle vanity that is spiritually reprehensible and not conducive to a wholesome experience of unalloyed joy. Let us reverence them from a distance as we seek out the purest children of the Lord, those fairest flowers of humanity whose very presence lends sanity to the soul, whose very words are surcharged with vibrations of a sublime world of inner reality, the realm of the supreme Self.
