Spirituality is the search for transcendental truth just as
science is the seeking of material truth. Both converge eventually in a
singularity that draws them in, for, essentially, Truth is one, although, the
approaches to it are many and distinct in their radial trajectory. The adage
‘unity in diversity’ draws sustenance from this spherical order of phenomena,
never quite regularly so but held by gravity in different dimensions to its
penultimate progression away and ultimate retrogression towards the core
consciousness. And truth subsists secretly in all of this phenomenal play to
which personality is privy and beyond to the impersonal in all its existential
grandeur. The Real shines through all that is phenomenal and, yet, eludes its
grasp, its retrograde reach, for the Real is over and beyond the pale of all
that seemingly is, this shimmering vanishing dream of sense and sensibility.
Is the Real then beyond us? Is the Truth beyond cognition?
Is there no way for us to communicate to the ultimate Being who is the
repository of all the seeds of creation and is the ultimate repose of all that
seemingly is? Are we then entrapped in our isle of 'I'? But more of it later.
