WHEN THE CALL COMES
One comes to this phase of evolution when life with all its mundane necessities, with its routine rigmarole and with its incessant hustle and bustle seems insipid and one feels the hankering for an alternative way of living, a new and refreshing philosophy, an invigoration to carry on with the business of life, overall, a higher calling that makes life meaningful and worth living. It is then that the tussle begins, the terrible struggle to break free from the attachments that hold one to the misery that life has become, the war of the soul that is declared by the aspirant on the foul world of matter. The floodgates of the heavens are about to open but still there is time to be spent in the mire of material existence with its false identity and fabricated mass of sheer futility that frustrates the soul battling for freedom. In such a dual state of aspiration and attachment, tending to free and refusing to unbind, each acting in reverse mode to the other, that the warring mind becomes a minefield of contrary forces resolving out past karma and future glory in the presence of the witness that the Self is. The panoramic phenomena shift fast as the soul prepares for its final lap of this terrestrial run to liberation where the geometry of space-time simply disappears and a vast void of spiritual fullness engulfs the ascending spirit in a gravitating blackness of light.
