Myself : They do not seem to have the character to go against the might of this perfidious tradition steeped in bureaucratic dealings of the worst kind, a tradition that has been built over seven decades and seems to threaten every party, if undone. Over and above this, they will not do anything to compromise their vote-bank and allow the opposition to capitalise on the sentiment of the public that they are being witch-hunted. Thanks to the Nehruvian tradition of sidelining Netaji for so long, the latter no more pulls votes, may be, in their reckoning, to be given so much importance in terms of restoration of place in history and unearthing of the mystery surrounding him.
