1. Blood was on the hands of the leaders who partitioned the Mother on 15 August, 1947 and we are celebrating today the deaths of Her children!
2. A feeble liberalism will not suffice. What is needed is robust nationalism built on universal truths.

A religion that teaches of an external, arbitrary and exclusive God that thirsts for the blood of the unbeliever is verily the seed of fanaticism and its ill-begotten offspring, human annihilation. Thus was Partition achieved in barter of a million lives and nine million more of destitution. Independence indeed!
7. Courageous individuals not caring for personal comfort or benefit but sacrificed unto the common weal is the need of the hour.
8. Birth was real, life is real, death will be real too. Then why must you do charity merely in virtual reality? Will it reach?
9. Let a million obstacles come your way, do not be despondent. Each hurdle crossed is energy gained for future fruitful work. Advance!
10. I wish we were more cultivated in our culture and in the knowledge of the true history of our freedom struggle. We could then have provided effective counters to the lies propagated every year from the ramparts of the Red Fort to the nation in all the high-sounding speeches delivered by our political leaders.
