A DISCOVERY AND AN ACCEPTANCE?

Why, for all the allegations levelled against the possible marriage of Netaji to Emilie Schenkl, this family photograph with Sarat Chandra Bose and Bibhavati Bose in it along with Emilie Schenkl and little Anita seems to be evidence for the fact that Emilie Schenkl, after all, was Netaji's wife and Anita is the daughter. Can there be any doubt after this? Where does it seem here that Sarat Bose is in a denial mode about Netaji's marriage? It seems pretty clear that he has accepted Emilie and Anita and, so, he is seen here with his newly-discovered dear relatives. And this (Sarat Bose's acceptance), I believe, is the reason also why so many of the Bose family members have accepted this as truth. However, in the absence of Netaji himself testifying as to its veracity, doubts will keep lingering in many people's minds and one has to get along with this dual interpretation of Netaji's marital status. Let us be civil about it and not cavil about the same. My respects to all.
