WHAT A SHAME! WHAT AN INSULT TO CULTURE, CIVILISATION AND DHARMA! BOLLYWOOD HAS TORPEDOED THE NATIONAL SHIP AND THE SHIP SINKS SLOWLY

Uncouth celebration going on on such a holy day just beneath our building. Tribute being paid to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu indeed! A Hindu renaissance? Alas, a far cry from it so long as such vulgar display of the lower instincts is holding fortress! There is not an element of aesthetics in all this as the carnal instincts in the camouflage of Bollywood music and accompanying dance by respectable citizens is reducing a holy festival to a vulgar show. It is all too disgusting.

Our country is not on the rise. It is culturally headed to a progressive fall which it must be in an age of proliferating mass culture, consumerism and the increasing greed for gain. Hinduism cannot gain any ground in the world so long as Hindus present their Dharma in such an abysmal fashion that the world thinks that Pagan religions are after all this way and their observers a bit wild which, considering their cultural backwardness and low conception of divinity, must be excused. Such a supercilious attitude towards the Hindus is often common among Christians and Muslims which we shamelessly endorse thus, although unwittingly perhaps or simply not bothering to ponder such issues that the world has with respect to us. Indeed, nothing can be farther from the truth about the real glory of Hinduism which we thus fail to project before the world and instead do just its opposite to shame ourselves, our culture, our civilisation and our Dharma. Time to reflect and respond to such aberrations that have crept into our polity and time indeed to accordingly alter stance. 🕉
