MARX, THE MESSIAH OF THE MASSES

He highlighted the exploitation of the masses by the cruel hand of capital. But the theory of scientific socialism culminating in communism that he gave mankind, has in the light of modern science become somewhat outdated and been rendered unscientific. The murderous method of implementation of the theory has also failed humanity. But Karl Marx is still mightily relevant in terms of remaining as the voice of oppressed humanity and as the harbinger of freedom unto an unexploitative world. His economic theories are pertinent still and his clarion call to revolution reverberates yet across the lands and the seas beckoning man to rise up and revolve to alter his destiny. Marx, a complex multidimensional figure in theory and in practice, stands as the modern sage of the masses as they struggle to throw off the yoke of age-old tyranny by the prosperous and the privileged.
