WHEN SHALL WE WAKE UP ?

British imperial crooks used Indians to control Indians. And those disgraceful ill-born betrayers of the motherland sold our freedom  and helped perpetuate our bondage to the corrupt colonists. Alas ! when shall we awake from this mental enslavement and start loving our country true and dear? When shall we free ourselves from Macaulay's master plan for us of perpetual servitude as a cultural racial hybrid? When shall the Ganga be holy in our eyes instead of the Thames, Indian universities worth qualifying from rather than U.S.? When shall the rich stop tyrannising over the rest, reduced to penury to fill their coffers, and a smile shall don every face? The cruel British will pay for their sins. Alas, when shall we atone for ours? When shall we give up upper class pretence, this shameless pseudo-westernisation of our attitudes, and start loving our countrymen with everything we possess?
