ARE WE TRULY FOLLWOING THE SCIENTIFIC STANDARDS OF THE SANATAN DHARMA ?
We can call the Hinduism we practise the Sanatan Dharma so long as we stick to its original principles of sustained research on the Spirit and keep on furnishing fresh data from our spiritual experiences as to its validity or otherwise that we discover in earnest just as scientists do. Our experiences are to be compared with the recorded earlier experiences of the seers and the sages and the divine incarnations, and their validity judged. If they go against what has been testified by countless historical experiences of the earlier seers, then we are to re-examine our inner selves and carry on further research. Again, all these modern claims of Sadhgurus and Shree Shrees and diverse Babas of their thus claimed but unverified experiences are not to be given much credence to if they do not correspond with what our scriptures in scientific delineation of spiritual experiences speak of. Let these modern ones prove what they claim to be their 'spiritual experience' in the light of verified and verifiable spiritual science. Then and then alone are they to be accepted as valid affirmations of spiritual truth and not otherwise. This will significantly reduce the flourishing trade of these mercenaries among men, the 'messiahs' of mankind.
Frauds and their fraudulent practices have deluged this motherland of the discoverers of sublime spiritual truths. Let us go back to the pristine principles followed by our reverent ancestors, that of spiritual scientific thinking which is so very contrary in spirit to all that is going on in the mart of 'spirituality' and is being labelled as the Sanatan Dharma in its modern connotation.
