Swami Shuddhidananda of Ramakrishna Mission speaks with authority. It is sheer inspiration to listen to him. Maharaj should never lessen his force and speak in an apologetic tone. He does not. He should never. People like strength. That is why they adore Swami Vivekananda. As successor to 'The Lion of the Vedanta', Suddhidanandaji also must never tone down the tenor of his speech but must continue to fire up the audience with volcanic words of the Vedanta, theoretical and practical, without apology, without compromise, without pandering to the vanities of the worldly, ever intent on hearing softer stuff. Let the nerves rattle. Let the lava flow out of the heart of the Vesuvius in igneous form and metamorphose humanity, careering it along higher evolutionary channels. It takes a long time to get a masculine soul full of the fire of brahmacharya, and we have at last found in Shuddhidanandaji one such in the mould of Swami Vivekananda who left us over a century back. Now we must not let go of this leonine Swami. Support Swami Shuddhidananda wholeheartedly but do not spoil the show with silly remarks of pretentious piety that make a mockery of his supernal strength that is attempting to reach you and transform you unto becoming real men and women. 🕉
