YOURS ISN'T THE ONLY WAY BUT JUST ONE AMONG THE MANY

YOURS ISN'T THE ONLY WAY BUT JUST ONE AMONG THE MANY

Fanaticism always temporarily wins but loses to liberalism in the end, the end though coming ages hence when selfishness has  given way to comprehension of the collective scheme of things in its radial flow of diverse elements to the common core of consciousness. Till such vision of the whole opens up, this selfish sight of personal end keeps up the narrow conviction that one's own line of advancement is the only path and all else is erroneous and worthy of at its best toleration and at its worst destruction. Great prophets of successful unilinear religious advancement have faltered here and faulted all else as false, leading to fanatical following fuelling hatred on earth in the name of faith. Here the Vedānta comes to the rescue of all by liberalising conception of the core common consciousness and setting fanatics free of their fetters of faith which even if food for them are poison for others of a different orientation of mind. Ramakrishna is the personified ideal of that Vedānta in this Age and must be duly studied and in depth interpreted to release humanity of its constraining conceptions and of its confining conditions that like prison cells have partitioned what ought to have been, and what deep down is, freely flowing life, the Spirit in unfettered flow. Ramakrishna is the illustration of this wonderful principle of universalism that the Vedānta philosophically hints at, for theory is not reality but its verbal representation, the reality transcendent being realised only in samādhi with its practical demonstration visible in its personification in the Avatār. The Vedānta is the theory, the Avatār is the way and Brahman is the goal, sounding as the 🕉 endlessly at the junction of the Unmanifest and the Manifest, ordering phenomenal flow in opposite directions, from the One to the Many and from the Many to the One.
