🕉 "TOUCH ME NOT," SAYS 'THE COMPLETE WORKS OF SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'

At a time when popular sentiment is centring the correct chronicling of India's history, it is best that Swamiji's works are left untouched by the editor's pen and his actual words not toned down to suit social and political convenience. There are too many gaps in his published writings some of which, one suspects, may be by editorial discretion, keeping societal harmony in mind. But such omissions and minor alterations of words that massively reduce the impact of the passages need not be done if the authorities believe in the spiritual principle of truthfulness. At times it is an irritant to get across these gaps, especially in critical writings at critical places. Hope somebody is listening. 🕉
