If Irfan Habib, Romila Thapar, Bipan Chandra and the entire leftist brigade are whitewashing the history of India and painting it their way, it is our duty to excel them in erudition and write history the way facts lead us to do. Who prevents us except our own academic laziness and our mass frivolous attitude to nationalistic things that at best amounts to casual criticism here and there and nothing more? We have to be serious students of history and take it upon ourselves to correct the narrative by presenting our version of it based on rock-solid historical evidence. Let us begin, all of us by studying our history from whatever authentic sources that be there right now, and a few exceptional ones by chronicling the correct narrative thereof. And there is plenty of good literature available that can duly inform us more about our past which we must start reading. Here I go. You, too, join me in this crusade for uncovering the truth.
