IN INDIGNANT RESPONSE TO ONE WHO DARED ASK THIS FOOLISH QUESTION AS TO WHETHER I WAS THE SAME SUGATA BOSE WHO SUPPOSEDLY WAS SOME BATCHMATE OF HIS IN CU PG IN ECONOMIC HISTORY (SPECIAL PAPER) OR IF I WAS FAKING IDENTITY IN THAT GENTLEMAN'S NAME AFTER ALL

Do you think there is only one Sugata Bose in the world who was your supposed batchmate and all others bearing the same name happen to be faking his person? Are you in your senses? Whoever your batchmate may have been, it is puerile to bear such ill-conceived notions about others without bothering to find out about their disclosed identity on their very profile, and utterly distasteful as to the manner in which you have posited your query. Refrain from casting such aspersions on others henceforth and prove to yourself that you are true to the meaning of your name as benediction unto all. May Bhagavān Sri Ramakrishna bless you and yours! Vande Mātaram! 🕉 Hindu!
P.S. And what prompts you in all your gentlemanly sense to ask such a question off-hand? Are you the sovereign Lord of the world that anyone owes you any answer, especially to one posed so indiscreetly in such a peremptory manner? When will gentlemen learn to behave better, to interact socially with due care, and respect fellow gentlemen as behove civilised beings in civilised society? Small wonder that Swamiji had lamented the prospective loss of culture in the days ahead of demographic change. He had further said, "Bring light to the ignorant, and more light to the educated, for the vanities of the education of our time are tremendous!" No decent person would impersonate another as my response would have quickened such a realisation in you by now, and certainly I for one am happy to be myself and consider it beneath my dignity to be someone else even in my delirious dreams. That much for it. Chew upon this and good day. May Thakur-Ma-Swamiji preserve you and grant you sanity, civility and circumspection! Vande Mātaram! 🕉 Hindu!
