RAMAKRISHNA ... 1

Sri Ramakrishna is God. So his devotees believe and so have his devotees right from Swami Vivekananda believed, many like Swamiji basing their judgement on pertinent spiritual experiences they have had in relation to the peerless Paramahamsa of Dakshineshwar. Tens of millions revere him today as God-incarnate on earth. The sprawling twin organisations named after him have spread to all the continents of the world where human habitation is, albeit minimally. The movement is on the rise with its commercial clout now aiding development at a phenomenal rate which with more austere spiritual principles dictating terms earlier, the growth was slower but much deeper. Now it is in rapid surface expansion mode. We shall discuss its ramifications later. But as of now, who was this Ramakrishna after all?
