THE SILLINESS OF THE STUBBORN MIND

Intransigence is a feature of the conservative mind which keeps on running along familiar tracks of prior misinformation and refuses to alter worldview as per newer inputs of data. Thus, a dogmatist remains a dogmatist despite exposure to what would to a more open mind have been revealing and life-changing discovery of fact. The intransigent will neither see reason nor respond favourably to historical facts but will keep on moving along the beaten track of blind belief, cowardly conformity to untruths or plain compromise with commerce. Such is the mass of humanity in the general that has to be made aware of the faultlines of history and the adjustments to life that must be made forthwith if horrific history is not to repeat. A mammoth task but one that, nonetheless, has to be accomplished.
