REASON ALONE MAKETH NOT A MAN

Rationality alone is not enough. That leaves man reasonably a slave to bodily limitations. Spiritual experience is necessary as well to lend meaning to life and understand its essence by transcending the boundaries of the senses. Intuitive experience transcends reason but never contradicts it in its expansive sense for it is the ultimate evolution of the finite unto its merger in the infinite like the wave in the ocean. The wave is finite when beheld from the fractional perspective but is ever the ocean, being its gravitationally pulled risen and fallen form which lends it an apparently distinctive shape, so to say. But the wave is water all along, at one with the ocean. So also reason rises and falls in its finite feature in the analytical mode of the mind till the evolved mind itself dissolves when it is purged of all desires and consequent attributes to reveal the Self within. Whither has the mind vanished and whither the universe?
