HARMONY OF RELIGIONS ... 1

While harmony of different dhrama traditions emanating from the same Vedic source is understandable and philosophically tenable, it is difficult to admit the harmony of antithetical religions, the absolutist Semitic creeds, namely, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, with the Indian dharmas as they are at complete variance with the latter. To attempt to harmonise them with the Indian dharmas would be to alter their very character because otherwise no such harmony would be possible. Hence, harmony of religions seems theoretically an impossible proposition. What do you say?
