IN RESPONSE TO MANJIT DADA'S POST ABOUT THE IMPENDING 'GOLDEN AGE OF RAMAKRISHNA' THAT FOR SURE MUST BE AS PROPHESIED BY SWAMI VIVEKANANDA

The task is arduous, though, so long as Hindus do not practise their dharma well, do their spiritual practices regularly and with diligence, remain ignorant about their scriptures and totally oblivious of the pernicious content of the scriptures of proselytising Semitic religions spewing venom at the Hindus and their dharma. Knowledge is power and so must Hindus study the Quran and the Bible to get to know about the positional stance of Islam and Christianity vis-a-vis Hinduism and their proselytising intent regarding the same.

Enlightenment is the greatest strength, though, and remains the only bridge between vast sections of humanity torn by intolerant ideology since millenia and, so, hellbent upon mutual destruction. To posit an easy transition from theocratic intolerance to liberal acceptance of all and sundry by Islam and Christianity, forsaking their intolerant doctrinaire compulsions which must be the sine qua non for this golden age of Ramakrishna to come into being, will be puerile and an assertion that may be made, for sure, but one that will never come into fruition that easy.

It must be by an overhauling of the entire theological basis of these dogmatic monotheistic religions and restructuring them on the foundations of the Vedanta, cutting out their proselytising principles and their absolutist arbitration on man and God by messianic and prophetic injunction, seeking sanction somehow from divine revelation, unique and absolute.

But such an endeavour will be stillborn, for it will be a misadventure made that will shed blood by the bathwater and roll human heads like no French guillotine could at the height of the Reign of Terror.

Human evolution will have to go past these monstrous ministrations of medieval times and settle in, eventually, for an enlightened order whose harbinger the message of the Masters Ramakrishna and Vivekananda is.

But the price will have to be paid to overcome intolerant ideologies and usher in the stated golden age and it will have to be paid in letters of love spelt out in drops of blood from the bodies of millions of martyrs to this cause of human regeneration.

May the Master enlighten us unto a less severe transformation of human society ! May love win after all ! But, will it this way be so easily attained with idle affirmations and little positive commitment in action to spread the message and bleed for it, too? The path of Maya is tortuous and never has a massive social transformation been effected without its corresponding duties to the times having been paid. So may it be that we will have to bleed our way through to this golden age of man and God.
